Poems
DO'S AND DON'T'S
DO  write for God's glory as your main goal.
DON'T  write goofy or overly silly poems. We can not use any poetry of that kind.
DON'T  write poetry with any type of romance in it.   I explained above what I mean by that.
DON'T   write poems any longer than 10 lines.  Preferably? 7 lines, or so. But it's fine if you write 10.
DON'T write poems that are made of lines that talk of things having nothing to do with eachother.
example:
 "Raindrops falling.
A yellow bucket sits on the kitchen floor.
Lulu's cookie batter is yummy.
An elephant eats a muffin.
A man sneezes." etc.
This kind of poem is useless to anyone who reads it. It doesn't encourage or uplift anyone, nor does it bring glory to God. It is confusing. What in the world is the purpous of this poem? Some people nowadays will applaud over such kind of useless nonsense, and say that it is true poetry,  But it isn't.
